Industry Education/ Product Guidelines

To establish SECA as the recognized authority in the surface coatings industry through the development, production, promotion, and dissemination of information and materials to all appropriate audiences, especially current and prospective users of surface coatings.

Under the direction of the Board of Trustees, this committee will develop guidelines of the generic coating types and their properties and recommended applications in order for SECA to promote the use of Surface Engineering Coatings to the general marketplace. This committee will not be involved in the use and dissemination of the information and/ or the development of the "specifications" or "standards" due to legal, liability and other issues associated with those definitions.


Customer Awareness/ Marketing/ Membership

The Membership Committee consists of the appropriate number of members to accomplish the necessary Committee activities under the President's guidance, one of which is customarily an elected member of the Board of Trustees who chairs the Committee. This Committee is charged with developing, recommending, and implementing an ongoing plan for retention and expansion of membership within the Association.

Statistics

The overall purpose is to recommend, develop, and/ or review, on an ongoing basis, a comprehensive information program for use by the Association members.
